The arrests at Baker Center, Ohio University on “Resist Trump: No Wall No Ban RALLY”

Video showing the arrests at Baker Center, Ohio University on February 1, 2017. The protest was organized by the Ohio University Student Union. “Resist Trump: No Wall No Ban RALLY” demanded a meeting with administrators to implement a sanctuary campus. Instead, administrators decided to call in OUPD, Athens Police, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol to arrest approximately 70 people.
*EDIT* The two high-level OU administrators I saw present were Dr. Jamie Patton, Assistant Dean of Students; Dustin Kilgour, Executive Director of Event Services. It is unknown at this time which member of OU leadership made the request for police presence and arrests.
